Big Science Business Forum 2022 will be held at the Granada Congress Centre (Paseo del Violón s/n 18006 Granada), which is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. Located in the heart of the city and offering about 45,000 m2 of modern, spacious and well-lit halls, rooms and exhibition areas, all equipped with state-of-the-art technology, it is equipped with two lecture halls capable of seating 2,000 and 560 people with additional registration spaces, 24 adjacent multi-functional meeting rooms and 4,000 m2 of spacious areas for exhibitors and poster sessions.

The building was designed by the Basque architect Juan Daniel Fullaondo, one of the great architects of the 20th century.

About Granada

BSBF2022 will take place in the city of Granada, in the heart of Andalusia. A science-oriented city, affordable in terms of accommodation prices and convenient for travel arrangements from the main European cities, Granada also boasts a unique cultural heritage which allows for a rich and rewarding experience for participants visiting us. If there is a city that truly evokes the essence of Spain, that city is Granada. A cross-roads of civilizations since time immemorial and in an unparalleled location, Granada is a vibrant, friendly and lively metropolis that is full of culture. The Alhambra, the flagship of the city's vast historical heritage, stands on a hilltop overlooking a city that attracts around three million visitors every year.

Granada, capital of the province of the same name, is in south-eastern Spain, in the autonomous region of Andalusia. Traditionally, it was the capital of High Andalusia, or eastern Andalusia, which comprised the provinces of Jaén, Granada and Almería, as opposed to Lower Andalusia or western Andalusia. In addition to being the traditional capital, Granada is the judicial capital of Andalusia, as the home of the High Court of Justice of the autonomous region. For more info, visit Granada tourist information web or the guide to Andalusia.
