Who is the data controller?

You share this information with the data controller for the management of your participation in the Big Science Business Forum 2022.

How and which personal data do we record on the CDTI events platform?

The CDTI records the personal data you share with us through the registration form of the BSBF2022.

The data collected through this channel are the following:

  • Identification details.
  • National identity card.
  • Occupation data.
  • Postal, e-mail or contact addresses.
  • Browsing data.
  • Photographs.
  • Food intolerances.
  • Invoicing data

What do we do with your personal data?

For your information, we process your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To process your request to participate in the BSBF2022.
  • To answer your correspondence.
  • To include you and/or the company you belong to on the list of contacts, to share with you events and/or information of interest in the field of R&D&i.
  • To facilitate future relations or manage the present relationship between you and the CDTI, E.P.E.
  • To manage the information provided in the different applications, as well as the documents or information requested.
  • To keep a record of relations and communications.
  • To manage browsing data on the events platform.

What qualifies us to process your personal data?

The CDTI, E.P.E. is one of the funding agents of the state R&D&i system, and its legal standing for processing the personal data shared with us through its events platform results from the exercise of the competencies legally attributed thereto as a public entity.

The optional or mandatory nature of the data requested shall be explicitly stated on each data collection form.

You may withdraw your consent for this processing at any time, in which case the CDTI shall understand that you do not wish to appear on the contacts list or for the relationship or management of your correspondence to continue. The withdrawal of your consent shall not affect the legality of the processing carried out up until such time.

How long will your personal data be stored for?

The CDTI, E.P.E. will store your personal data for the time required for the management or purpose they were collected therefor. In any case, for the legally established time periods for their storage and/or the handling of any possible liabilities or claims that may arise.

We will store your locked data in the record of relations and correspondence.

Are your personal data going to be shared with third parties?

The CDTI, E.P.E. may share your personal data exclusively with FASE20 S.L., the company in charge of the Technical Secreatariat of BSBF2022, and the joint organisers of the BSBF2022 or any others for which we are under the legal obligation to do so, such as, for example, communication with State law enforcement authorities, courts and tribunals, or other agencies or public entities that are legally entitled thereto, as well as European agencies or institutions.

Your personal data are also stored in the servers owned by the platform development company, EventsCase Ltd., based in Calle Pavías 11, in Castellón. The CDTI has entered into the applicable non-disclosure agreement with this company, in accordance with the National Security Model and General Data Protection Regulations.

Is there a Personal Data Protection Officer?

In compliance with its legal responsibilities, the CDTI, E.P.E. has appointed a collegial body as a Data Protection Officer to whom you may send any query or matter relating to the privacy and protection of your personal data by writing to the CDTI, E.P.E., Data Protection Officer, in Calle Cid, 4, 28001 Madrid, or by sending an e-mail to dpd@cdti.es, with the subject "GDPR" (General Data Protection Regulations).

What rights do you have relating to your personal data?

You are entitled to obtain confirmation of whether or not the CDTI, E.P.E. is processing your personal data, to access your personal data, in other words, to know which data are processed by CDTI, E.P.E., and to request the rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data and to request their erasure when they are no longer required for the purposes they were collected therefor.

You may also exercise the right to restriction of the processing in the cases set down in article 18 of the GDPR, or object thereto, preventing your data from being processed for specific purposes. You are also entitled to lodge a complaint against the processing of your data with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

What security measures does the CDTI, E.P.E. adopt covering your data?

The CDTI, E.P.E., in accordance with the provisions of its Information Security Policy, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 27 April 2016, and other European and National data protection regulations, shall adopt all the appropriate legal, technical and organisational measures to protect the privacy of your data.
